What. The. Fuck?

We first told you about Britney Campbell of San Francisco in March -- she's the eight-year-old aspiring pageant queen already dabbling in Botox and virgin waxes, courtesy of her mom, Kerry. The pair appeared on Thursday's "Good Morning America" to talk about the extreme beauty regimen with Lara Spencer. 

Spencer asked Britney questions worthy of a horrifying "Law & Order: SVU" episode: can you show me where you do it? Can you point on your face? Of the Botox, Britney remarked, "It hurt sometimes, but I get used to it," and of the waxing, "It was super, super hard to deal with that...I just don't think it's ladylike to have hair on your legs," however adding that she won't do it again. At least not for a while.

A mother is injecting a controlled substance (that is know to be dangerous if improperly used) into her eight year old daughter's face to deal with wrinkles.  Wrinkles.  On an eight year old.  She shows zero remorse and no self doubt about her decision to endanger the well being of her daughter.  And her reasoning for doing this?  The pageant world is hard.  Really?

I feel so sorry for this poor girl.  Her self image and possibly her health are going to be so screwed up when she gets older.

Though perhaps the scariest part of this whole situation, is that this mom is probably right when she says other moms do it.  A lot of pride is on the line in these child beauty pageants (which in and of itself is really fucked up).  I don't doubt for a second that many pageant moms would do this if given half a chance.
